If you don't have insurance, you may qualify for a state-funded program or a lower fee scale. If you’re worried about cost, ask us about how you can get health care that fits your budget.
Our fees are based on your household income. We’ll never turn you away from the care you need because of your inability to pay.
If you do not have health insurance, read about health insurance options to find out how to get more affordable coverage and what to consider when choosing a plan.

Most health insurance plans now cover prescription birth control, annual wellness exams, and STI/HIV screenings with no copay, and many other services with some copay required. Contact your health insurance company directly to make sure that the services you need are covered and what, if any, out of pocket costs you might have.

If you plan to pay for your visit with a credit card that’s not your own, you must bring a letter from the cardholder with you.
All PPGNY health centers are ADA accessible. We accommodate patients who require assistance, including individuals with wheelchairs, for all appointment types.
VISITORS IN THE HEALTH CENTER: To reduce overcrowding in the waiting room, no more than one companion may accompany each patient into the health center without express permission of the health center manager. This may be reduced during times of pandemic, flu season, or for reasons deemed relevant that would prevent overcrowding of waiting rooms. In some cases, if necessary to accommodate the specific need of a patient, the health center manager will authorize that more than two people may accompany a patient.
Children under the age of 10 are not allowed in the waiting area unsupervised.
We’re unable to provide childcare at our health center. For safety reasons children need to be accompanied by an adult when they’re in the waiting room. Only infants can accompany you to the exam room. Please bring a friend or family member to be with your children if you don’t have childcare at home.
Only infants and toddlers in a car seat or stroller are allowed in the exam room. Please make arrangements for childcare for any other children.
We offer services to meet the unique communication needs of patients who may be deaf or hard of hearing. If you or your family member needs these services, let our staff know as soon as you book an appointment. We’re here to help you communicate your health care needs.
You can fill your birth control prescriptions at our health center instead of the pharmacy. Please call 1-2 days before pick up.
